As you may have figured out, I run a ministry called Unveiled Living. It’s a place where we strip away the veil we tend to hide behind and let God’s truth shine through. It’s about living authentically—getting real with one another, sharing our struggles and victories, and growing deeper in our walk with God. Twice a month, we send out Unveiled Connect, a little love letter packed with encouragement, faith insights, and updates on everything we’re doing at Unveiled Living. My heartbeat is to lead others into a more genuine, on-fire relationship with God, and Unveiled Connect is one of the ways we journey together in that pursuit.
In this week’s Unveiled Connect, we’re diving into the power of a thankful heart. You know that verse from Psalm 68:19—“Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms”? It’s more than just a nice thought; it’s a reality. It’s the kind of verse that makes me want to keep reading it because to continually imagine where it says, “For each day he carries us in his arm,” that stops me in my tracks and puts the biggest smile on my face! You see, gratitude has this incredible ability to shift our perspective, to help us see God’s hand carrying us through every high and low. And when we live wrapped up in thankfulness, it opens our eyes to His constant care and blessings, large and small.
To help our community live out this gratitude, I would encourage you to start a ‘Thankful List’. It’s a simple but powerful exercise to jot down the blessings God’s given us. Then, on Thanksgiving Day, each person can share a few items from their list around the table. It’s amazing how God honors that, how our hearts soften, and joy fills the room. Gratitude invites us to recognize God’s hand and strengthens us for the days ahead.
