The beauty in the Garden is that conversation with the Father about the bride price/dowery. Today it is associated with the bride, but Jewish tradition is the opposite. The groom pays for the bride. It's not a token price, it costs something. The groom pays as much as he can to show the bride how much she is worth. We are worth every drop of His precious blood. Like some grooms, they go discuss the price with their fathers--can I really afford this? Can there be another way to get her that won't cost as much? The answer is No. The price was determined as soon as Adam sinned. The beauty is Jesus accepted that high price so He could have His bride.
