Unfiltered Faith // A Mid-Summer Selah
I jumped on Substack back in late October—and I have to say, it’s been such a pure joy to show up here every week, pouring my heart out through the lens of faith, real life, and what the Lord’s been stirring in me.
From funny stories to honest moments, to deep dives in scripture—especially this recent 8-part journey through Psalm 18: Wide Open Spaces—writing here has been life-giving.
So…what’s next?
I’m not leaving.
I’m just taking a little summer selah to enjoy the wide open spaces God has me in right now.
This pause? It’s about being more like Mary than Martha—trading the to-do list for time at His feet.
Because the checklist this season? Yes, it’s worn me down a bit.
But the quiet? It’s a soul reset. And I can already feel it—God is pouring in some things I know will come out in beautiful ways soon. I’m excited for what’s ahead…
BUT—before you think it’s going completely silent around here…
The Gracie Rae Chronicles: Part One is still unfolding every Saturday until July 19—and I have to say, these next 3 chapters are some of my favorites yet.
If you’ve been following along, you know this story is deeply personal—woven with real memories, first heartbreaks, deep faith moments, and that wild, beautiful ache of growing up. And if you’re just jumping in? It’s not too late. You can binge the earlier chapters anytime.
We’re nearing the end of The Wildflower Years—the Part One finale—and let me just say: there’s laughter, tears, choir trips, handwritten letters, and a few surprises tucked in before we close out Chapter 10.
So grab your Saturday coffee and come sit with Gracie Rae.
She’s got a story to tell—and you just might see a bit of your own in hers.
And if you want to keep up with what else I’m doing, head over to unveiledliving.org—that’s where I’m pouring much of my heart this summer season (so I’m not actually sitting on a beach during this selah time…LOL).
New studies are being released & a brand new website!
Our Summer Emag launches July 23rd
And there’s even more fun surprises coming
I’ll be back here Monday, August 11th, excited and ready to go! So this isn’t goodbye. It’s just a soul reset pause. A moment to breathe, rest, write…and receive.
Love you all so much.
Keep walking in those wide open spaces—He’s already gone before you.
See you in just a little while,
—Tracee
